Electronics safety features:
- locked rotor/stall detection: switches motor to standby mode and restarts it after 136 seconds if motor fails to start or if speed is different from preset range. This software detection protects the motor with a timed restart algorithm to limit maximum winding temperature.
- non-resettable thermal protection: permanently stops motor if over temperature occurs. Software protects from most external conditions that could trigger over temperature (see locked rotor/stall detection).
